Submit an Application to Exhibit Your Art

Make.Shift Gallery is now accepting proposals for solo and group shows in 2020. Submit your proposal by filling out the application below. DEADLINE: October 14, 2019.

We are booked for the remainder of 2019.

Art shows typically hang for one month. Opening receptions take place during Art Walk, the first Friday of the month from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The gallery is comprised of an entry room and a larger main gallery, totaling approximately 105 linear feet of wall space.

Please review our hanging requirements and standards of quality before submitting your application. Make.Shift Gallery reserves the right to exclude any work that does not meet our stated hanging requirements. We may be able to make display accommodations on a case-by-case basis. If your work needs to be displayed in a manner that does not meet our requirements, please provide details in your application.

Shows will be considered based on availability of dates and quality of work. 2020 submissions will be reviewed by a jury of local artists, and Make.Shift staff, volunteers, tenants, and supporters.
