Our Board of Directors
Cat Sieh, Chair Cat left her corporate job as a journalist in 2008 to focus on make.shift (and to become as broke as the musicians make.shift is trying to help.) She wades through bureaucracy and spends a lot of time on the telephone for make.shift. |
Meg Coulter, Co-Chair
Meg is an art student at Western Washington University and an all around pack mule for make.shift. When she’s not puttering around her shed she’s organizing events for us, pedaling the POWER WHEEL for us, supervising our events and battening down the hatches. |
Audra Robson, Secretary Audra is loud enough to spread the word about make.shift to just about everyone in town. She’s our unofficial booking agent, flyering guru, and all-around promoter. When she’s not riding the POWER WHEEL she’s probably bartending at the Cabin Tavern. |
*Not Pictured: Ben Knauss, Treasurer Ben is our source of wisdom on all things non-profit. Besides doing our books, he’s the brains behind many of our projects.
Our Volunteers!
Vanessa Ergo Vanessa is our go-to lady for all random tasks and great ideas. Her truck is also an unofficial make.shift volunteer. |
JD Martin and Buddy Savage JD and Buddy, electricians at Bellingham’s Mac&Mac Electric, built the POWER WHEEL for us, and help us out by setting it up and supervising it at shows. |
Chris Howard What doesn’t Chris Howard do for us? |
Katie Hagerman Katie is the brain to our brawn. She is an all-around great business lady for make.shift. |
Steve Gadingan This model comes stock with the make.shift event table. |
Riley Bamesberger Our newest recruit. Sly, stealthy, good in a fight. |
Tim Woods Tim and his cohorts on the Western Washington Cycling Team pedal the POWER WHEEL for us at the American Museum of Radio and Electricity. |
*Not Pictured:
Scott Rickey Scott has done more graphic design for make.shift than we care to mention. He designed our logo, printed out t-shirts and won our hearts long ago. Check out his stuff at the Sweat Shop, his art studio, next to Honey Moon in downtown Bellingham.
Anjali Kulser Anjali, aka “OG Anjali,” is a Western student who has booked shows, planned events and been at the helm of many many tables for make.shift.
Julieta Torres Julieta, a Western graphic design graduate, does posters and other graphic design for us, since we’re high maintenance in the graphic design department.
Seth Hover Seth redesigned our website for us and helps us with
all things technical.
Austin Santiago Austin does booking and graphics for us, and consults us on how to be generally more hip.
Matt McDonald Matt is from the future and every non-profit needs someone from the future.
